Coronation Street’s Paula Lane: “Kylie’s Exit Is Fitting End”
Paula quit her role as wild-child Kylie earlier this year after almost six years. She revealed to The Daily Star Sunday what she thinks about her character’s swan song.
She told the paper: “I’m very happy with my exit. I can’t reveal how or why or even if the door is being left open for Kylie. It’s a very fitting end for the character.
“And of course everyone is counting down to the big reveal where Callum’s body will finally be found. When I first found out that Kylie was going to be a killer I was in quite a bit of shock. I kept thinking, ‘How can she come back from it?'”
Although Paula has remained secretive about how Kylie will be leaving, we do know her exit will come around the same time as the climax to the body-under-the-annex storyline.
Kylie bludgeoned her ex Callum to death after she walked in on him attacking sister-in-law Sarah during last year’s live show.
Callum’s body is still buried under Gail’s granny annex after Sarah, Kylie and David conspired to hide it there.
