iKON will release the DVD and Blu-ray of its concert held in Budokan, Japan

The group successfully completed its first arena tour ‘iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN JAPAN, which held at International Center in Fukuoka, Japan on February 11. After its first concert, it held the concert for 14 times in five cities by mobilizing about 146,000 audiences for each show. Because of an enthusiastic attention from its fans, the group will release DVD and Blu-ray that include Japan arena tour scene, on June 22.

The group made an exceptional record by performing in Nippon Budokan arena only a short period after its debut. The DVD includes the entire performance of Budokan concert and additionally added Japanese version performance such as ‘DUMB&DUMBER’, ‘I Miss You So Bad’ and ‘WHAT’S WRONG?’ that held in Makuhari Messe event hall. Moreover, each member’s interview and the behind story documentary are included in the DVD.

On January 13, the group released its Japanese debut album ‘WELCOME BACK’ and topped the Oricon daily chart on the day of its debut. On March 30, it released the repackage album ‘WELCOME BACK – COMPLETE EDITION’ and topped the largest Japanese sound source, Recochoku and iTunes. It proved its great popularity by ranking fourth place on Oricon daily album chart with the repackage album. Even though the group is a rookie, its album sales in Japan reached over 120,000 copies.

Meanwhile, iKON increased the scale of its concert tour from Japan arena tour to Asia tour ‘iKONCERT 2016 \'SHOWTIME TOUR\' IN ASIA’. The group will start the Asia tour by holding a concert at Taipei Arena in Taiwan on April 22, and continue to hold its tour at Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on May 7, at Sichuan Provincial Gymnasium in Chengdu on May 14 and at Nanjing Olympic Center Gymnasium in Nanjing on May 21.
