Jimmy Carr's been tweeting about David Cameron and it's brilliant
In the past, the Prime Minister hasn’t exactly kept quiet about how he feels about people allegedly avoiding taxes.
In fact, when it was reported in 2012 that Jimmy Carr was using offshore companies to reduce his tax burden, Cameron called it “morally wrong”.
Which is all a bit awkward now isn’t it?
The witty response from the comedian on Twitter comes after Cameron’s revelation that he and his wife sold shares worth more than £30,000 in an offshore fund.
In an interview with ITV News, Cameron called it a “fundamental misconception” that the fund was set up by his late father to avoid tax.
But people really aren’t happy and on Saturday protesters will be taking to Downing Street calling for his resignation as prime minister. Meanwhile, on Twitter, the hashtag #ResignCameron has been trending.
