Kevin Hart is hoping to live up to the 'wildest' MTV Movie Awards
The stand-up comic is hosting this year’s event with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the biggest blockbusters and popular films are honoured at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has the most nominations with 11. The film’s stars, Britons Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, are both up for gongs.
Will Smith will receive the Generation Award to recognise his glittering film career, while golden popcorn statues will also be handed out for best kiss, best fight, best hero and best villain.
Speaking on set at Warner Bros Studios, Kevin said he believes the MTV Movie Awards are “cooler” than the Oscars because people are more willing to have fun.
He said: “When you see award shows, sometimes people don’t come to have a good time.
