Taking to Instagram following the release of Queen Bey’s amazing (and much-talked about) new album ‘Lemonade’, Adele shared a photo of her hugging a Beyoncé poster.
She wrote: “I’m not late on this I’ve just been speechless.
“Beyonce is the most inspiring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own.
“I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X”.
Back in November, the ‘Hello’ singer denied snubbing an invite to duet with Beyoncé, explaining she would ‘never disrespect’ Bey like that.
At the time, E! reported that Adele told Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show: “There’s a rumour going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that.
“Obviously, like, Queen B ‘til the day I die.”
She later added to Time: “Whoever started that rumour must have been having a laugh because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside of my child is Beyoncé.”
So, about that duet…
