Caitlyn Jenner Admits, ‘I Still Have A Voice Issue’ Following Her Emotional ESPYs Speech
Understandably, she was delighted to be acknowledged for such an accolade but is also pleased that her appearance on live television is now behind her.
In the weeks leading up to the event, she had been worrying about what to wear but her concerns should have dissipated when she stepped out in this ultra-glamourous, custom-designed Donatella Versace gown, which makes my wardrobe look a little sad in comparison!
Despite feeling confident in her attire, she has admitted that she wasn’t completely satisfied with her acceptance speech, “While I felt like I looked great and that the gown looked fabulous, I still have a voice issue,” she wrote.
Caitlyn opened up in her candidly brave blog post entitled “How I Conquered My Biggest Fear at the EPSYs”, which details all of her pre-event fears and confesses, “It was a little difficult for me to watch myself… I still have a voice issue. It’s not quite right compared to my feminine appearance. That bothers me a little bit.”
She adds, “However, I hope that people don’t listen to the pitch of my voice, but listen to what I have to say. That’s important to me.”
