Jacky Cheung to hold his tour in mainland China
As reported on CNA, the singer announced the news on 18 May, saying that he will be holding his concert series, "2016 A Classic Tour", around mainland China beginning 21 October in six different cities – Beijing, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Wuhan.
Three more shows will be held in March next year in Shanghai.
When asked what songs he will perform at the concert, Jacky smiled and responded, "Maybe classic songs."
As for his 30th anniversary concert in Hong Kong, it was rumoured that Jacky was only able to obtain the Hong Kong Coliseum on next year's New Year's Eve, which will make it his 32nd anniversary in showbiz instead.
Previously, Jacky denied reports saying that he has cancelled his 30th anniversary concert following a row with artiste manager, Florence Chan.
The singer stressed that he decided to forgo the plan since it felt forced, and stressed that he doesn't care about what anniversary it is as long as he felt inspired to perform.
