Kim Kardashian reveals she's done with contouring
"I think right now it's more about nontouring, like real skin with less make-up on it," Kim explained during a panel with make-up artist and close friend Charlotte Tilbury at the Vogue Festival, while husband Kanye West supported her in the audience. "I'm trying to wear less… and my husband loves me without make-up."
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star went on to reveal that she has been turning to another beauty craze to enhance her already radiant complexion. "I'm really into strobing now," she confessed. "So just highlighting the skin without using bronzer."
While she is moving away from the trend, Kim admitted that she hasn't given up on it completely. "I love contouring and I don't think I'd stop contouring my nose," she said. "I know people think I've had a nose job but it really is just make-up!"
There's no doubt that Kim played a significant role in catapulting the contouring craze to its iconic status in the world of beauty– and her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic has often been credited for helping her master the trend.
"Sculpting is always a part of my routine with Kim; it helps to define features, it's a diet for the face,"he told HELLO!. "Kim does not need it every day, but when you are being photographed as much as she is, it really helps. It's great in selfies and who doesn't want high and more-defined cheekbones, a slimmer face and a more defined jaw?"
