Madonna Posts Nude Protest Photo on Instagram
The 56-year old posted a black and white photo of herself wearing nothing on the social media platform, which has come under fire recently for its "hypocritical" censoring laws.
"Why is it OK to show ass but not breasts?" Madonna captioned her photo. "Drowning in the hypocrisy of social media."
She also included the hashtags "artforfreedom" and "unapologeticbitch."
Madge previously had a photo deleted from Instagram, but that hasn't stopping her from trying again - and so far, her latest effort, which has 78,000 likes and counting, has gone unnoticed (or ignored) by the social media platform.
The singer isn't the only celebrity to become the victim of Instagram's strict no-nudity policy. In May last year, Rihanna's page, which had over 12 million followers at the time, was deactivated after Instagram discovered topless photos on her account.
However, the company denied they disabled the account over the racy images and claimed shutting down her page was a "mistake".
Instagram representative Alison Schumer said: "We briefly disabled the account by mistake and restored it quickly."
Let's hope Madonna doesn't suffer the same photo fate.
