It has been more than a decade since her last drama with ABS-CBN, but now Nora Aunor is making her comeback with the network through the long-running drama anthology, "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK).

According to Coconuts Manila, the actress, who appeared in front of the media to announce her return to the show recently, stated, "You know, I have long dreamed of returning to television. I dream of returning to the network and especially to MMK."

The return was a little surprising to many, after Aunor vowed back in 2011 to never work with ABS-CBN again.

The actress reportedly had a misunderstanding with some of the top management of the network, mainly the Santos siblings – then ABS-CBN president Charo Santos Concio and Star Cinema head Malou Santos.

However, Aunor said that she has already settled the issue prior to her return.

"Whatever mistakes I made, I have said my sorry and I am not ashamed," she said.

As to whether she will film a TV series with the Kapamilya network again in the future, the veteran star, whose last drama with the network was the 2002 "Bituin", said that she is open to the idea if there's a good script and convenient working hours.

In the new episode of MMK starring Aunor, the actress plays the role of a mother who would do anything for her children, four of whom have some kind of disorders.
