TVB producer trusts company in pulling drama
As reported on Oriental Daily News, the producer, whose drama "Daddy Dearest" has been pulled from the slot for the third time this year, stated that quality is not an issue in TVB's decision to change the schedule.
"My series have always been up to par, and the company has made the decision after thorough consideration. I support TVB's decision and I believe it will be aired one day," said Poon.
One of its main stars, Mandy Wong, also stated that she trusts the company to make the right decision.
"Daddy Dearest", which has been pulled from its 30 May slot to be replaced by Lawrence Ng's "Presumed Accidents", has been pulled from its slots twice already – previously replaced by Tavia Yeung's "The Last Healer in Forbidden City" and Ken Cheng's "My Dangerous Mafia Retirement Plan".
